A combination of different types of photography techniques which provides the viewer a message in the form of art. It’s all about the right angle, correct lighting and great lens. For different types of photos, the lens has to be changed accordingly.
If you think that winter has already come to your city, pictures from Oymyakon, Russia, the coldest village on Earth, might change your mind. With the lowest temperature of −71.2 °C (−96 °F), recorded in 1924, and the average for January being -50°C (-60°F), this village is the coldest permanently inhabited place on this planet.
For me the year 2016 was complicated and had lots of ups and downs with very high peaks of them. I realized that I have captured my deepest emotions along the year to photos when organizing my catalogs. It’s quite strange to realize that subconsciously I have created an accurate collection of my afflictions.

We were approached by Savannah College of Art and Design in collaboration with Rizzoli Publishing to produce a monograph for the visionary fashion designer Guo Pei. While we were originally familiar with her name in connection to the 2015 Met Gala dress she fashioned for Rihanna, we quickly became enamored with her work. Looking through her designs was like pulling clothing straight out of Alice in Wonderland so we naturally went the route of creating fairytale worlds for them to live in.
The 2018 Siena International Photo Awards has received 48,000 submissions from 156 countries, and the judges have had an incredibly hard time deciding the winners. Nonetheless, the winners have been decided, and just like in 2017 and 2016, their images show just how diverse our beautiful world really is.
